Logo Design Competition

Background

‘Creative Maidstone’ is an exciting new Community Arts Hub that will offer a range of facilities for local artists and creatives, providing space to create, exhibit and sell.

It is hoped the new Hub will become a vibrant centre for arts in the town, not only supporting our local creative sector, but also hosting a variety of classes and workshops to help engage all the community in creative arts.

The Brief

We are looking for an inspirational and eye-catching logo that is visually appealing and will work well across a range of media, including print and digital. It must be easily reproduceable at both small and large scale.

The logo must incorporate the name ‘Creative Maidstone’ in some way, and you may also like to include ‘Community Arts Hub’ as a strapline or subtext, but this is not essential.

The colour palette comprises the following Hex colours:

Orchid - #841983

Blush - #FF5992

Pea - #A4D555

Electric - #4CDEF5

You are free to use any or all of these, and any colours/tones that complement. We hope it’s not too restrictive, but we had to decide a colour scheme some time ago in order to start building the new website for the Hub!
