Art on Maidstone High Street

Discover our brand new mini art trail, created as part of a campaign by Maidstone Borough Council and One Maidstone to brighten up the town centre as we welcome people back.

The trail is the result of a number of workshops where young people created artworks for display in empty shop windows.

All the photographs used in the trail were taken by Evan Tinsley, Anna Kerrigan and Ben Farrant.

The individual pieces of street art were created by Karnel, Charlotte London, Becky Wiggins, Erin Bourne and Lucy Norris.

The trail starts at the Mall and other artworks will shortly be installed in more locations around the town centre. Check back regularly for updates!

Please use the map below to see all the locations (shown in purple).

This project has been made possible thanks to the generous support of a number of organisations including:

Kent County Council LogoKent Police and Crime Commissioner logo

West Kent Youth Justice Team

Safer Maidstone Partnership Logo

Special thanks to the Mall and the landlords/owners of the empty shops, as well as all the young people who took part.
